This may not be much help, but Rob at MH had a '68 GT6 with lap belts that included a shoulder strap which hooked on the clasp of the lap belt as it was fastened. If seat belts, like exterior mirrors, were fitted at the sales dealership there may have been some variety depending on availability. Often Triumph belts had a logo on the clasp. Check British car shows and picture books to try to get a consensus on belt styles.
